While serving as The Ohio State University Writers Guild President, I managed a literary event series that culminated in Epilog 2024, a celebration of graduates, including a showcase of their work. I designed the accompanying anthology and oversaw its publication from initial drafts to final proofs.
Epilog 2024
From 2022 – 2024, I served as the Arts Editor for The Journal, a literary magazine produced by graduate students at The Ohio State University. As Arts Editor, I oversaw the solicitation of submissions, selection of featured artwork, wrote introductions to the work, and interviewed the artists.

Since 2020, I’ve produced handmade, functional pottery. In 2022, I dropped my first collection to great success following a comprehensive social campaign.
Heather McCabe Ceramics
In 2018, while working as an Editorial and Marketing Intern for Green Writers Press, a Brattleboro-based publisher, I launched the press’ first podcast series, Take a Leaf. The five-episode season, which featured interviews with the press’ authors and designers, attracted hundreds of listeners.
